The average salary of professionals working in the property sector is £44 839 excluding bonuses and other benefits. This is 10.9% up on the previous survey. Chartered surveyors are closing the salary gap with fellow professions such as the law (£48 000) and engineering (£53 067). Approximately 10% of the survey respondents are based outside the UK with the annual salary of international respondents on average 32% higher than those in the UK.
