Online resources: Summary: Comes into force 31 March 2008. Amends the Home Information Pack (No.2) Regulations 2007. Adds the requirement that a home information pack must include information about the property's sustainability, in the case of new homes in England. For finished homes, this must be either a sustainability certificate or a nil-rated certificate. For new homes that are not finished, an interim sustainability certificate or nil-rated certificate is required. Also extends the exemption relating to searches and access to local authority records.
