Directive 2007/66/EC amends the previous two EU Directives on Remedies (Directives 89/665/EEC and 92/13/EEC). The changes introduced mainly relate to procedures for redress for bidders who feel that a contract has been awarded unfairly. Although the terms of the Directive cannot be substantively changed in the implementation process, the Scottish Government is seeking views on the optional aspects of the implementation of the Directive. The deadline for comments is 31 October 2008.
