Reports that activity across all sectors of the commercial property market fell again in England and Wales in the third quarter of 2008, with occupier demand falling at the fastest pace in the survey's history (i.e. since 1998). Finds that the amount of available floor space for occupation increased at the fastest pace since the introduction of the question in 1999. Concludes that tenants now have greater bargaining power than ever, pushing lease lengths down at the fastest pace on record.
