A consultation on the consolidation of the Waste Management Licensing Regulations in Scotland. Also suggests the streamlining of the licensing system, a proposal which resulted from the Better Waste Regulation consultation carried out by the Scottish Government and SEPA. It is hoped that the proposals will simplify the law and assist with the implementation of the Zero Waste Plan for Scotland, which is due to be launched in May 2010. Deadline for comments is 21 May 2010.
