A significant number of European residential markets showed signs of revival from Spring/Summer 2009 and further revival is expected in 2010. House prices rose by 12% in Norway, by 8% in Finland and by 7% in Sweden and by 1% overall in the UK. Germany, Italy, Netherlands and France show moderate falls of between -4% to -6% whilst Ireland, Spain Greece and other central and eastern European countries were the worst performers.
