A practice note to accompany the 2010 HomeBuyer Report. Under the terms of UK Practice statement (UKPS) 4.1 in the 6th edition of the RICS Valuation Standards (the "Red Book"), surveyors accepting instructions to provide reports under the RICS HomeBuyer Service must comply with the conditions set out in this practice note. The practice notes is written to reflect the property law in Scotland: there is a separate practice note which covers England, Wales, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.
