Examines whether, and in what circumstances, courts in other EU or EFTA (European Free Trade Association) states may refuse to recognise and enforce a UK judgment giving effect to the decision of an adjudicator under the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996 Part II. Discusses in detail the scope of adjudication, enforcement in the UK, and recognition of UK judgments in EFTA/EU. Particular attention is paid to the potential problems to enforcement raised by the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms.
