[2010] EWCA Civ 314, 30 March 2010. Concerned with validity of a Section 13 notice served by long leasehold tenants of a block of flats seeking to exercise their statutory right under the Leasehold Reform Housing and Urban Development Act 1983 Chapter 1 to acquire the freehold by collective enfranchisement. Appeal concerned the signature of the fourth tenant which was a company which purported to sign the notice through a director and whether this was sufficient under s99(5)(a) and whether it met the terms of the Companies Act 1985 s36A relating to the execution of documents. "Held" appeal dismissed.
