Noise impacts of airport developments considered in the national consultation documents - London DTI 2003

The technical note which examines the impact of aircraft noise caused by airport developments proposed in the national air transport consultation documents. The report reveals that house prices in the Heathrow area could drop by £256m if a third runway is built, based on a one decibel increase in noise resulting in a fall in house prices of between 0.5 and 1%.
