"Commission for the New Towns v Cooper (Great Britain) Ltd (formerly Coopind UK Ltd)" CA 24 February 1995. Held that a party to a contract, who had deliberately mislead the other party as to the terms of the agreement, could not expect performance of the contract but could be bound by the agreement, which the second party thought existed.
