Guide and accompanying CD-RoM on the preparation of buildiing log books, designed to provide a standard approach to the industry. Approved Document 2 of Part L of the Building Regulations (2002) now includes a statutory requirement to provide new and refurbished buildings with a building log book in order to enable the building owner to operate the building in an energy efficient manner and according to the design intent. This guide particularly seeks to ensure that for small businesses the burden of providing the log book is in keeping with the size of their buildings, by incorporating a small business case study and template.
