Advises RICS members on the calculation of surveyors' fees to be reimbursed as part of a compulsory purchase claim after the abolition of "Ryde's scale" (M2151) with effect from 18 July 2002. Fees will now be assessed on a reasonable basis agreed between the parties. Separate guidance is provided for claims settled or made before 18 July 2002 and claims settled or made after 18 July 2002. Gives other bases for calculating fees, time recording and disputes. Superseded by "The calculation of fees relating to the exercise of statutory powers in connection with land and property" (ISBN 9781842193166).
