Jones and another v Cook and another CA 15 March 1990. An appeal against an order for possession . Possession had been granted on the basis of a certificate issued by a housing authority under Rent Act 1977 schedule 15 para 5(2) stating that accommodation offered to the tenant was similar in extent to council-owned dwelling houses which might be provided for families of similar size. CA considered that it could not decide the validity of the certificate; case remitted to county court.
