Rules 2,3,6,7,8,11 and 34 come into on 1 February 2004, Rule 9 on 1 March 2004, Rules 4, 10,14-21, 23-29, 32 and 33 on 1 April 2004 and for all other purposes on 1 May 2004. Key provisions include a new Rule 7.12 which allows claims to be started electronically, and Rule 30.8 which requires any proceedings which raise an issue of competition law to be transferred to the Chancery Division.
