Came into force 30 March 2004. Reg 2 lists various provisions of the Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002 coming into force. These include: a new right for long leaseholders of flats to collectively manage their building (ss71-113); changes to the definition of service charges and rights to challenge charges (ss150-155); changes to the provision relating to requests for insurance information from landlords (s157); the right to challenge charges under lease and estate management schemes (ss158-159); and the extension of Leasehold Valuation Tribunals (ss163-173 and s176).
