- London BCIS 2004
- 80p. 30cm.
This guide presents and analyses data on the actual time taken to construct buildings, providing an aid to clients and their consultants in estimating the construction duration at the earliest stages of future products. The data used in this study has been collected as part of the annual Key Performance Indicators survey carried out by BCIS on behalf of the DTI. The study is based on over 1 500 new build building projects completed in the UK between 1998 and 2002. Appendices provide: regional factors; the BCIS Tender Price Index; definition of classification of variables; log values of construction costs; multiple linear regression; and equations for regression trend lines. An accompanying CD-ROM (L145245)contains the BCIS building construction duration calculator, which is not available for loan.
