Consultation paper on Planning Policy Statement (PPS) 10 planning for sustainable waste management

The consultation seeks views and comments on the draft of the new Planning Policy Statement (PPS) 10 "Planning for Sustainable Waste Management". It is the intention that PPS 10 with an accompanying practice guide will replace in due course PPG10 "Planning and Waste Management" published in 1999. The aim in revising PPG10 has been to focus on national policy and to provide clarity on what is required at regional and local levels to deliver sufficient opportunities for sustainable waste management.
