The Housing Act 2004 (Commencement No. 1) (England) Order 2005

This Order brings the following provisions of the Housing Act 2004 into force in England on 17th February 2005: s220, which extends the powers of the Housing Corporation to give grants to persons other than registered social landlords; s221, which is related to s220 and extends the right to acquire in relation to a dwelling provided by means of a grant to a person other than a registered social landlord and s227, which removes the duty on local housing authorities to send annual reports to tenants.
