The Landfill (England and Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2005

The Regulations make further amendments to the regulatory regime governing landfills in England and Wales for the purpose of implementing Council Decision 2003/33/EC establishing criteria and procedures for the acceptance of waste at landfills pursuant to Article 16 of and Annex II to the landfill directive (Directive 1999/31/EC) They also make provision in respect of the implementation of the directive. All relevant changes in requirements brought about by both the Landfill (England and Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2004 and these Regulations come into effect on 16th July 2005.
