This Defra consultation is on how businesses can use key performance indicators (KPIs) to manage and report on their environmental performance. It also sets out which environmental impacts/KPIs are most significant for which business sectors. For nearly 80% of UK businesses there are five or less significant KPIs against which Government believes they should report their environmental performance.
