The Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 (Commencement No.5 and Savings) Order 2005 - London TSO 2005 - SI 2005:2081 .

Brings into force on 24 August 2005 in relation to England the following provisions of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004: s43 concerning the power to decline applications, s44 dealing with major infrastructure projects, s51 relating to the duration of permission and consent, s54 in respect of the duty to respond to consultation and Sched 6 para 16(4), which substitutes the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 Sched 1 para 7. The Order also bring into force s116 of the Act referring to the Isles of Scilly and makes savings for the purposes of the provisions contained in ss 44, 51 and 54 of, and para 16(4) of Schedule 6 to, the Act.
