Describes the results of research carried out to determine the impact energy and forces exerted in static load and displacement tests specified in BS 6206 and its replacement BS EN 12600. The human impact on glass was also measured. Concludes that the introduction of BS EN 12600 should not affect the safety of glass used in buildings as regulated by the Building Regulations.
