This consultation paper relating to the water framework directive (Directive 200/60/EC) contains draft guidance which when finalised will be statutory guidance from the SoS and the National Assembly for Wales to the Environment Agency. The Directive, which establishes a framework for Community action in the field of water policy, will affect a wide range of stakeholders. Their advice and assistance is sought to help develop the guidance's content. Responses are required by 7 March 2006. Item not found when searched for on DEFRA website 12/9/2011.
