Olympic Delivery Authority (Planning Functions) Order 2006

This ODPM consultation seeks views on the granting of planning powers to the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA), the public sector body being established in the London Olympic Games and Paralympic Games Bill to facilitate the staging of the Games, to manage government interest in the Olympic project and public money going in. The Bill also provides for the ODA to be given planning powers by the SoS by way of a Planning Functions Order made under the Local Government Planning and Land Act 1980. Responses are required by 12 April 2006.
