Records that house prices rose for a fifth consecutive month in March but the pace of increase slowed from the previous month. Buyer enquiries have continued their record-breaking run, up for the tenth consecutive month, underpinned by low interest rates. Even though agreed sales continued to rise into March, the number of new sellers rose notably, up at the fastest pace since June last year. Surveyor confidence has improved with sales activity and prices expected to continue rising in the coming months.
