Taking effect on 6 April 2006, this approved document deals with the requirements of Part P of Schedule 1 to the Building Regulations 2000, as amended. It applies to electrical installations in or attached to buildings or parts of buildings comprising dwelling houses and flats, dwellings and business premises that have a common supply, common access areas and shared amenities in blocks of flats, and in or on land associated with buildings, or outbuildings.
