House prices rose for the fifth month in a row, up at the fastest pace since May 2004. The price boom continued in London and the south east of England, with prices in the north of England continuing to rise, and prices in East Anglia surging from a near standstill. The south west of Englandand Yorkshire both saw moderate rises with prices gaining momentum in Wales. Buyer enquiries rose for the fifteenth month in a row and newly agreed sales rose strongly, up at the fastest pace since last November.
