UK commercial property delivered a total return of 0.7% in January, outstripping UK equities (-0.3%) and bonds (-1.3%), but down more than half on December's 1.5% return. The income return component of total return remained unchanged at 0.4%, but there was a slowdown in the rate of capital growth to 0.3%. Rental values lifted by 0.2%, compared with 0.5% in December. Yields continued to slow to 0.2% compared with 0.7% in December.
