The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 [electronic resource] - London TSO 2007 - SI 2007: 320 .

Implement in Great Britain the requirements of Directive 92/57/EEC regarding minimum health and safety on construction sites. Revoke and replace the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 1994 (Parts II and III) and revoke and re-enact, with modifications, the Construction (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1996 (Part IV). Key changes introduced by Parts II and III of the 2007 Regulations include: the replacement of planning supervisor with CDM co-ordinator(Regs 20 and 21); a construction phase plan prepared by the principal contractor to replace the planning supervisor's health and safety plan (Reg 3); duties of the client and appointed dutyholders to arise at notification of a construction project (Regs 14 to 24); and all dutyholders to co-ordinate their activities to ensure the health and safety of persons carrying out or affected by the construction work (Reg 6). Come into force 6 April 2007.
