Reports that the average net initial yield on transactions increased for the first time in over three years in the final quarter of 2006 as investors reacted to rising interest rates. Reports that both the industrial and retail sectors saw yields rise to 6.1% and 4.7% from 5.9% and 4.6% respectively, whilst office yields remained steady at 5.25%. Table lists the top buyers in the UK markets, showing overseas investors accounting for six of the positions in the most active buyers table.
