Proposals to make regulations under the Building Act 1984 s91A (inserted by the Sustainable and Secure Buildings Act 2004 s7) which will require local authorities to set up, maintain and make publicly accessible a register of building control information. The information and documentation will relate to local authorities? own building control functions, including receipt of information from competent persons, as well as that of approved inspectors. Consultation ends 15 June 2007.
