A woodfuel strategy for England [electronic resource] - S.I. Forestry Commission 2007

Describes the strategy which aims to bring an extra two million tonnes of wood into the market, annually, by 2020 saving 400 000 tonnes of carbon every year. States that to achieve this target efforts should be focussed on the potential wood resource available in the 60% of English woodlands that are currently undermanaged. Recommends UK government interventions in the areas of capital investment and support, outreach and facilitation and awareness raising.
