Reports construction output in 2006 to have risen by 1.3% compared to the previous year, with new construction work showing the biggest surge, up by 4.7%, while the repair and maintenance sector fell by 2.6%. Reports that most regions in the UK showed a rise in activity, but that London took the biggest share. Predicts building tender prices to increase by 4.6% in the year to 1st quarter 2008, and tender prices in London to increase by 6.3% over the next year.
