Presents papers from the 2007 International Federation of Surveyors conference. The conference theme was Strategic Integration of Surveying Services. FIG aims to link surveyors of different regions and cultures. Papers on this theme address the global agenda, the challenge of mega cities, and the cross-border recognition of qualifications. Other papers presented address the need to reduce carbon emissions, developer strategies, ethics, land markets, national mapping, building regulations, and sustainable development. The future of the profession and education within it is also considered.
