Reveal that construction and agriculture have the highest rates of fatal injury of the main industrial sectors, accounting for 46% of fatal injuries to workers in 2006-07. The most common type of accident is falling from a height, which accounts for 19% of fatal injuries. The construction sector saw 77 fatalities, comprising of 50 employees and 27 self employed workers. This is an increase on the 2005-06 figure of 60 fatalities.
