The Licensing and Management of Houses in Multiple Occupation (Additional Provisions) (England) Regulations 2007 [electronic resource] - Statutory Instrument 2007: 1903 .

Comes into effect on 1 October 2007. Imposes duties on managers of Housing in Multiple Occupation (HMOs) which are converted blocks of flats to which section 257 of the Housing Act 2004 applies. The duties include maintenance of water supply and drainage, gas and electricity, living accommodation and common parts; providing waste disposal facilities and information to flat owners; and taking safety measures including those relating to fire. Also imposes responsibility on HMO occupiers to ensure that the manager can reasonably carry out his responsibilities.
