Finds that house prices edged up in July, the 21st consecutive monthly rise. Market conditions are considered the loosest since June 2006, with the level of growth well below the long run average for the second consecutive month. Demand and supply conditions are weak. Surveyor confidence in sales fell to their lowest level since March 2003, and in price outlooks to their lowest level since June 2005. 12.6% of surveyors reported a rise than a fall - up from 10.6% in June. Completed sales for the quarter to July fell to 23.5 per surveyor, down from 24.4 in June.
