Compares the construction procurement system used by Peugeot cars in France, with the approach used in two UK construction projects, using Social Network Analysis (SNA). In particular, highlights the contractual relationships and the financial incentive relationships of the three projects. Also provides a general overview of procurement and project management issues in the UK and a comparison of procurement systems in the UK and France. Forms part of ongoing research into developing the use of SNA for the analysis of construction procurement and management.
