Reports that financial market turmoil has dominated the last month. However, considers that the Bank of England is unlikely to act until the volatility in the global financial markets subsides. Overall rental growth in commercial property slowed down for the first time in three years, but the construction industry is doing well with orders for the first quarter of 2007 the highest since 1998. House price growth increased slightly in July, but completed property sales for the second quarter fell to 23.5% from 24.5% in June.
