Reports that during the first half of 2007 EU economic growth was strong, with an annualised growth rate of just over 3%. Demand for office space remained strong in most countries. Finds strong occupier demand and a shortage of good quality office stock in a number of markets, especially in the Baltic countries. Vacancy rates in most cities have continued to decline, and in many cases, rents have been rising. Rental growth has been particularly strong in London, Stockholm, Moscow and Warsaw. Development activity has increased in a number of cities, notably in London.
