- London GVA Grimley 2007
Aims to highlight the key role commercial property plays in the Scottish economy. Estimates the total capital value of all stock in Scotland at the end of 2005 to be £51bn. Finds that the sector contributed £7.34bn to the Scottish economy (8.5% of Scottish GDP). Estimates that 1.37 million square metres of industrial stock and 360 000 sqm of office stock need to be replaced annually. Notes that, unlike England and Wales, there is a lack of national floorspace statistics.
