Updates residential statistics which were presented in a previous release (L138265) and previous update (L141386). Provides information on other types of land use change. Estimates that 75% of new dwellings in 2006 were built on previously developed land, and at an average density of 41 per hectare. In 2005, the figures were 77% and 41 respectively.
