Finds that demand for rented properties has continued to outstrip supply. 64% of respondents in prime central London report that there are more tenants than available property. This remains the case around the UK but the proportion has fallen slightly. The average capital asset value of rented houses has fallen by 1.3% over the previous three months. The value of rented flats fell by 1.1% over the same period. Average weighted rental returns fell to 4.8%.
