Reports that 64.1% more chartered surveyors reported a fall than a rise in February 2008, an increase from 54.7% in January. This figure is close to June 1990's historical low. Scotland remains the UK's most buoyant market, with the balance of surveyors reporting a rise jumping from 7% to 25%. 35% more chartered surveyors reporting a fall in new buyer enquiries than reported a rise. Unsold property on surveyors' books jumped by over 8.5% in February, the fifth successive monthly increase over 8%. However, sales expectations turned positive for the first time since June, and price expectations improved slightly.
