Relates to liability for material loss suffered by the purchaser of a house as a result of a prescribed survey report not meeting the requirements set out in Article 3 paragraph (2) of the Order. A prescribed survey report is defined in the Order as a document prescribed under section 104(1) of the Housing (Scotland) Act 2006 which contains information both about the physical condition of a house and its value. Articles 2 and 3 relate to Scotland only; otherwise the Order applies to the UK as a whole. Comes into force 1 October 2008.
