Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2008 [electronic resource] - London OPSI 2008

Legislation amends the Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) (England and Wales) Regulations 1991 so that they apply to applications for subsequent approval of matters under conditions attached to planning permissions. They also amend the Town and Country Planning (Determination of Appeals by Appointed Persons) (Prescribed Classes) Regulations 1997 so as to provide for appointed persons (i.e. planning inspectors) to determine appeals against enforcement notices in cases where an environmental statement is required. These regulations come into force 1 September 2008 and apply to England only.
