Research responds to the Cave Review of Social Housing Regulation and investigates the matter of provider choice in social housing. The focus on choice and competition could bring about real change to both the regulator and the sector as a whole and the authors seek to explore how tenants might be given an element of control over their provider. Highlights the fact that 93% of tenants polled would like more choice over their housing aspirations and that 57% of tenants believe that they have next to no choice under current arrangements.
