The Justice Secretary established the Business Experts and Law Forum in order to examine ways in which business could be helped and encouraged to operate in Scotland and use Scottish courts as their chosen forum for dispute resolution. This report suggests that the legal system in Scotland can already offer businesses a lot, but that more can be done by the legal profession, the Government and the courts to ensure that the contribution that the legal system makes to Scotland's economy is maximised.
