Updates a survey carried out five years ago, which looked at the development potential of 12 major UK office centres outside London in relation to their level of transport provision. The 'transport provision index' score, which shows how each well city meets demand for transport with supply, is given for each city for 2003 and 2008. This indicates that Sheffield and Leeds, which were top of the list in 2003, have now been replaced by Cardiff. Bristol and Birmingham came bottom of the list in 2003 and 2008.
